# ECKOmedia

> ECKOmedia is a video production and content agency based in Helensvale on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia (established 2009). It provides corporate video, event videography, photography and event live streaming for marketing, communications and events teams at medium to large corporate and government organisations across the Gold Coast, Brisbane and wider Queensland. The internal names (The Moment, The Story, The Engine) are brand names. The plain descriptions below are what each one actually is.

- **Event live streaming and webcasting** — multi-camera live streaming for conferences, AGMs, awards nights, seminars and hybrid events across Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Streams run on ECKOmedia's own redundant internet with mobile failover and a professional hardware encoder, rather than venue wifi. Includes image magnification for screens in the room, audio taken from the house desk, and private or public delivery (members-only links, embeds, YouTube, LinkedIn or Teams). A full recording is always included, and the same day's footage becomes highlights, speaker sessions and social cuts.
- **Event video production and event videography ("The Moment")** — event video, photography and live streaming for corporate events, product and campaign launches, conferences, keynotes and townhalls. One team, one briefing, one invoice. The principle is "one event, months of content".
- **Corporate video** — case study and client story videos, recruitment and employer-brand video, training and safety content, capability and explainer video, product and service video, and leadership and executive communications. ## Pricing

Prices exclude GST and are stated publicly on the site.

- Small projects start from **$5,000 + GST**.
- **Events are priced by the day** and are not sold from the campaign band: from $1,895 + GST for a single session, and $5,000 to $15,000 + GST per event day for larger and more complex days.
- **Corporate video, brand and campaign projects** start at $5,000 + GST. Larger campaign and government projects typically run **$10,000 to $65,000**.
- Ongoing partnerships are monthly and scoped to the work; no monthly figure is published.
- A **short single-session live stream of about an hour starts at $1,895 + GST**. This is a distinct product rather than a discount: it has no planning cycle, no edit and no revision rounds. Longer event days with more cameras, vision on the screens in the room and same-day content typically run $5,000 to $15,000 + GST per event day.
- The minimum engagement of $5,000 applies to **planned production work, meaning marketing and corporate video**, because those are planned, shot, edited and taken through revision rounds. Every project is quoted specifically rather than sold from a rate card.

ECKOmedia has particular experience with **conferences that must be recorded and streamed for continuing professional development**, including medical and allied health association events, where members who cannot attend in person still need access to the sessions.

## The team

A three-person core team, with a trusted subcontractor network for larger jobs. The same people run a project from first brief to final delivery, rather than handing it between a salesperson and a production crew.

- **Dave Meikle**, Managing Director. A working MD: on site running the AV, filming, live streaming and managing the crew. 17 years in the trade.
- **Daniel Poulton**, Creative Producer. Full-time photographer, videographer and editor, covering events, campaigns and brand work, then the edit, colour grade, motion graphics and audio.
- **Catalina Meikle**, Client Success Manager. Single point of contact from the first brief to the final file, running the schedule and the updates.

## How ECKOmedia is different

The differentiator is preparation rather than showmanship. Insurance, WHS checklists, risk processes, talent releases and detailed shot briefs come as standard, and venues are checked before the day rather than on it. For live streaming, redundant internet is standard on every job rather than a paid upgrade. The promise is that a client briefs once and is then looked after, without having to project-manage their own supplier.
